Starting with the best steel available for the spring, Vogtland carefully measures and tests the raw materials to ensure that they meet strict guidelines.

Quality management systems for production are in line with ISO TS 16949 and they are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 standards that are supported internally by engineering, test capabilities and training programs to maintain the highest quality assurance standards.
Vogtland sports springs are produced using special inductively hardened steels with high tensile chromosilicon (CrSi) and chromium-silicon-vanadium (CrSiV) alloys using the cold wrapping process. This ensures a lower spring weight with a high material strength, effectively reducing the unsprung weight of the vehicle and optimizing the driving characteristics.
