Gecko Pro Wax Guard Step 5 is the final step in the polishing and protection process. This high-quality wax sealant provides a durable protective layer that protects the paintwork from dirt, water, UV rays and harmful external influences. At the same time, it deepens the shine and ensures an intense, sleek finish that remains visible for weeks.

The formula is easy to apply, polishes smoothly and is safe for all paint types. Wax Guard forms a hydrophobic layer that effortlessly repels water and significantly simplifies paint maintenance. Ideal for use after a complete polishing treatment or as a maintenance layer on existing coatings.

Please note: Always apply Wax Guard to clean, grease-free paintwork. Use Gecko Pro Panel Spray (Step 4) beforehand to remove any polish residue.

Application & Use
Gecko Pro Wax Guard has been specially developed for professional use as the final layer in the detailing process. both new and polished paintwork, but also for maintenance on vehicles with an existing coating. Visibly prolongs shine and protects against daily external influences.

Instructions
Preparation: Make sure the paintwork is completely clean, dry and free of grease. If necessary, use Gecko Pro Panel Spray (Step 4) to clean the surface.

1. Application: Apply a thin layer of Wax Guard with an applicator pad or soft microfibre cloth.
2. Polishing: Allow the product to dry for a few minutes and then polish with a clean, dry Gecko Microfibre Cloth (item no. 687853).
3. Curing: For optimal protection, do not expose the vehicle to water or rain for the first 6 hours.

Pro tip
Apply Wax Guard in thin layers – more is not better. An even, thin application gives the best shine and prevents streaks or stains. For extra depth and protection, you can apply a second coat after 1 hour.
