Competition Intercooler Kit Ford Focus RS MK3
The Competition high performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (630mm x 215mm x 125mm = 16.931cm³) and thus offers a 10% larger flow area and 72% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh is very light, so the complete intercooler weighs only 9.2kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized under flow analyses in the CAD system. With the help of incorporated air baffles, in the inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler is ensured. The connection diameters at the inlet and outlet were expanded to 70mm. Therefore, the kit includes two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties at lowest backpressure. Thus, this kit is just right for racing. The assembly is done at the original mounting points and is easy to perform(1:1 exchange). An optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance! All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
