COMPETITION CHARGE AIR COOLER KIT for Ford Ranger :
Ford Ranger PX2 3.2TDCi (147kw/200HP) 2015+.
The WAGNERTUNING high performance charge air cooler features a new type of Competition mesh (Tube Fin) with dimensions of 660 mm x 282 [254] mm x 120 [65] mm [stepped]. This corresponds to an external net volume of 21.3 liters. Thus, the WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Ford Ranger offers a 32% larger frontal inflow area and 279% more external net volume compared to the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). With the help of an air guide incorporated inside the cooler inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler network is ensured. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal backpressure. In addition, the newly developed Competition high-performance network still provides sufficient air flow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light. An optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from any environmental influences, as a result of which a lasting and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The assembly takes place at the original mounting points and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
