The 3.0 liter V6 biturbo engine (M 276 DE 30 AL) of the Mercedes C43 AMG models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. Consequently, the cooling process of the charge air is realized by a water-cooled charge air cooler, which is replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance charge air cooler.
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of performance mesh with dimensions of 222 mm x 297 mm x 95 mm. This was developed specifically for the high demands of the C43 AMG engine and offers 133% more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler. The ratio between internal and external cooling surface used here generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the best possible internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties at lowest backpressure. Thus, this kit is also suitable for racing. An optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
All WAGNERTUNING intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating, so that a lasting cooling effect is ensured. The installation of the system is also uncomplicated and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
