COMPETITION CHARGE AIR COOLER KIT for Ford Fiesta ST MK8 The WAGNERTUNING high-performance charge air cooler has a new type of Competition mesh (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 620 mm x 390 mm x 56 mm. This corresponds to an external net volume of 13.5 liters. Thus, the WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Ford Ford Fiesta ST offers a 150% larger frontal inflow area and 86% more external net volume compared to the original intercooler. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). With the help of an air guide incorporated inside the cooler inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler network is ensured. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal backpressure. In addition, the newly developed Competition high-performance mesh still provides sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight.
